A nice ride from Pittsburg-Baypoint BART to the Black Diamond Regional Preserve and back.

A huge long bike ride from Concord down to Mitchell Canyon, and then around the east side of Mt. Diablo on Morgan Territory Road.

Nice long bike ride up into the Oakland hills, down Redwood Regional Park's East Ridge trail, and then all the way down Redwood Road to Castro Valley. Still lots of wildflowers in bloom.

I was planning on biking all the way up Mount Tamalpais today, and the weather was really nice when I started, but by the time I got to West Point I was inside a cloud with nasty howling wind. So I decided to save the rest of the climb for a nicer day.

2005 Tomatoes

I decided to grow tomatoes in a half-barrel this summer.

My parents and I were in San Francisco to see an exhibit of Robert Cameron's aerial photography. Afterwards we drove around sightseeing for a while and I took three nice pictures.

Nice long ride over the Golden Gate Bridge and up into the Marin Headlands.

Visited the Chabot Observatory with my dad and a niece & nephew.

09apr2005 Wildcat Wildflowers

I biked the whole length of Wildcat Ridge, from the steam train ride in Tilden Park to the Belgum sanitarium in Richmond. Along the way I saw lots of different kinds of wildflowers.

06apr2005 Paris

Day fourteen, my last day in Paris. There was a little bit of blue sky in the morning, then it rained on and off for the rest of the day.

Day thirteen (I was tired yesterday). Cloudy in the morning, at the Parc Floral. Sunny in the afternoon on Ile de la Cité and Ile St. Louis.

Day eleven. The perfect weather continues. My brother-in-law and I biked from Paris to Versailles and back.

Day ten. We took the train to Chartres for the day.

Day nine. Sunny! But I spent the morning just enjoying the sun on my sister's balcony, so not so many pictures today.

Day eight. I took pictures at the Gare de l'Est and the Gare du Nord, and also around Sacré Coeur.
